The Navaratri and The Divine Mother

The Navaratri is the 10 Day Celebration of the Divine Mother from September 30, 2008. It begins with three days October 1&2 devoted to Durga , Kali and Gaurie; three days devoted to Lakshmi October 4-6; and three days focused upon Saraswati October 7-10. The tenth final day iOctober 11, 2008 is a great feast and celebration for all of the Divine Mothers.

Mother causes us to know her, to seek her, to long for her. She draws her children into her heart and removes from us all ego, temptation and guile. Thus, we are purified and become more simple and obedient to the Mother’s guidance.

The Embodiment Process

Divine Mother draws us into Her until we begin to integrate and loose ourselves in Her – until we are essentially gone. We disappear into the Mother’s Heart. She becomes us and we become Her. There is Nothing else. Her Heart is the only heart. Her mind is ours and Her devotion through us is complete and endless. The Mother has assimilated and downloaded or embodied in, through and around us. The original personality is fused or dissolved into the Divine Individuality.

Mahakali

Mahakali is the Divine Mother of Darkness. She rules the voidal or dark qualities of matter. She kills the ego and eats up any resistance, stubbornness or carnal separation. Kali stands upon Shiva claiming Him completely. He surrenders to Her and dies in bliss. This death is symbolic or actual depending on how long He resists Her fury. Mother melts Shiva down and spits him out in flames. His only destiny is to die and be reborn through Her Love.

She calls Him back to life and resurrects Him, which is similar to Isis restoring Osiris back to life. Osiris is the King of the Underworld.

The Divine Mother controls Resurrection, though this is not usually spoken of in Hinduism.

Mahakali wears a necklace of men’s heads around Her neck. These men lived in their minds; their mental power and intellectual prowess are severed and eaten. Thus, the ego dies and the stubbornness and resistance is gone. Her tongue protrudes out Her mouth as she transmutes all impurities, devouring them. This act is actually done out of love for Her children. Kali is feared and revere.

Mahakali is swift, direct, forceful, formable and terrible in Her Wrath. Nothing withstands Her, and all is consumed and dissolved in the fiery passion. She is frontal—the warrior of the World’s shaping and re-shaping all imperfections. Slothfulness, ignorance and ego are immediately struck down by Her. If you are Her, she protects you in all worlds and you are strengthened and withstand all evil.

So be it.
